About this deal

I don’t think it stood out to me in the poll but taking a long look at it in this video really gave me an appreciation for it. The Queen let another drop fall from her bottle on to the snow and instantly there appeared a round box, tied with green silk ribbon, which, when opened turned out to contain several pounds of the best Turkish Delight.

When the Pevensie children - Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy - step through a wardrobe door in the strange country house where they are staying, they find themselves in the land of Narnia. Today, we are looking at the best covers for The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and the highest rated non-English Narnia covers. It is interesting that both the Pauline Baynes LWW covers showcase a scene right after Aslan is back from the dead. NarniaWeb is maintained by fans and is in no way connected to Walden Media, Walt Disney Pictures, 20th Century Fox, The Mark Gordon Company, Netflix, or the C.The cover with her artwork on The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe is the same as the paperback edition that I have. Those are very memorable moments and showing children safely interacting with a big scary lion is cool. Adult readers will be quick to spot the Christian symbolism woven through C S Lewis's story, which some critics have found problematic - but children will enjoy the magic of this spellbinding adventure in its own right.

I like some of the picture books David Wiesner (who did Number 4) has done, but I find his Narnia book covers to be very bland. This classic story is certain to capture young imaginations, cleverly blending elements of fairy-tale and fantasy to create a wonderfully engaging adventure.
