About this deal

I requested a digital advanced readers copy from NetGalley and Bookouture and providing my opinion voluntarily and unbiased.

I loved the vivid descriptions of this Greek island, but I found the characters to be a little one dimensional and I was annoyed at all the red flags that Alice ignored; however, in Sue Watson's signature style, she creates a complex, layered plot that will have you guessing about everyone and everything. Who exactly can Alice trust? Oh my goodness… My head is still spinning… Twist after twist, jaw-dropper after jaw-dropper, bombshell after bombshell… I didn’t know who to trust and it was all just so delicious!’ Goodreads reviewer ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I give this book 5 stars, hands down!… I COULD NOT put this book down… Holy cow. Just when I thought I knew what was going to happen – PLOT TWIST!’ Goodreads reviewer ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The thing is, Alice left legal problems behind in the UK. She also left her sister very worried about her, always a protective mother hen to her. Alice is determined to prove that she can make her own decisions in life even if that means staying in picturesque Greece. Nik owns a bountiful vineyard and it does not take Alice long to imagine being married to Nik at the vineyard and living an entirely new life.Ooh, this is a juicy one,' she said, biting seductively at a maraschino cherry she'd earlier described as 'divinely kitsch'. She swallowed the cherry whole, giggled girlishly and raised a flute of champagne. 'Why have cava when Champagne is sooo much more bubbly? Cheers!' she said, taking a large sip of vintage Krug.” Sue would love to meet y Sue Watson was a TV Producer at the BBC until she wrote her first book and was hooked. Originally from Manchester, she now lives with her family in leafy Worcestershire where much of her day is spent writing – and procrastinating. Her hobby is eating cake while watching diet and exercise programmes from the sofa, a skill she’s perfected after many years of practice. It’s the day I’ve been dreaming about my whole life. As I glide down the flower-strewn aisle overlooking the Greek orange groves, in my pearl-encrusted ivory gown, I finally see my fiancé Nik. We look like the perfect couple, but not all fairy tales have happy endings… As the chilly nights roll in, this book will give you a slice of summer as Alice tells her tale of Corfu.

Daniel X is closing in on his parents' killer. But in this thrilling adventure, danger-and the world's deadliest aliens-lurk in the shadows. And by the time he finds out who I really am, it will be far too late. There’s only room for one happily-ever-after on this wedding day, and I’m determined to make it mine… Thanks so much to Netgalley.co.uk and the author Sue Watson for an advanced copy of 'The Wedding Day' due to be released in May in exchange for an honest review. Now a USA Today bestselling author, Sue explores the darker side of life, writing psychological thrillers with big twists. When we first meet Alice her life is rapidly crumbling around her, and as the setting changes and the story unfolds, things really don't get any better. Alice is someone who is always chasing what she thinks will make her content and safe, but her obsessive nature-and frequent indulgence in one too many glasses of wine-aid her only in sinking deeper into the nefarious machinations of those around her.
