when I tested it I sure liked the masculinity in the scent so I purchased it and didn’t have time to test performance. The patchouli is wildly noticeable here, so if you hate patchouli; it's pretty much guaranteed you'll hate this.

I'll start by saying that it's been in my top 5 for six years and it looks like it will be in my top 5 for life. with 6-8 hours of longevity and moderate silage this baby comes off as a pleasant and inoffensive scent. Where I associate this with a flirty and preppy professional, he was reminded of a "very sweet and cuddly grandmother". I lent this bottle out to 3 different friends and only one of them got 2 hours out of it, while me and my other friends only got 1 hour.Gucci by Gucci gives me a very fresh patchouli vibe (you won't get a classier patchouli scent by the way, trust me), but at the same time it's also very creamy. The sharpness of the perfume seems to come from the bergamot, which opens up and becomes distinct after a few minutes, yet it doesn't overtake the complex nuance of tobacco and green notes. At the other end of the spectrum, longetivity is an absolute disaster, not to mention the alcholic/watery scent it relaeses after a while. You'll find a range of eau de parfums paired with body lotions, rollerball bottles and miniature vials – ideal for the frequent traveller. Good job letting an awesome fragrance go to waste because of hall of fame shitty sillage and longevity.I was able to find out that there are several varieties that are shrubby, and the sap is often extracted from their woody stems and put to various uses. When I first sprayed it on (I always do 2 or 3 sprays on my chest/tummy area) I noticed a "stinky" note but it didn't scare me, I knew it would settle down and it did. I'm not getting Tiare outright but there is a creamy, buttery richness to this composition that could only be attributed to that. The unique Tom Ford perfume is ideal for anyone who appreciates luxury and distinctiveness in their fragrance choice. I had a bit of worry about whether the "maturity" of this would end up smelling like a granny,but this mellows into more of an incense vibe.

Like a million other fragrance suggestions we've all heard, I'll let this sit alone in the corner all by itself to see if it matures and gets stronger with better performance. The older batches perform better and the tobacco note is more pronounced, but it's hard to find now and not worth the effort with so many modern-day fragrance choices. Even after several tries I‘m not 100% sure what to make of it - It can be warm and sensual, but then a scratchy note emerges that really ruins it for me, something artificially clean.If I were to visualize this fragrance it would be glossy, like a sleek, smooth, polished piece of ebony wood. the performance is the main downside of this scent, the projection and longevity are slightly below average. Rarely did a fragrance catch me with guard down - but "Gucci by Gucci", just like its male counterpart, did. I love love love this perfume, its addictive, its my all time favorite go to perfume every day - I never tire of it - its sweet yet dark maybe even slightly spicy, its intriguing and alluring. UPDATE: After wearing this a little more, I've gotta say the performance seem to be worse than what I thought it originally was.
